Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with both new and existing clients to conduct needs-based assessments, fostering loyalty and identifying opportunities for future growth.
- Implement business development initiatives aimed at acquiring new clients through outreach campaigns and leveraging branch referrals.
- Enhance BMO's business presence by reaching out to potential clients, scheduling appointments, and cultivating relationships within the community.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities during client interactions to generate referrals for banking products, including personal banking and investment services.
- Support the achievement of sales targets and performance metrics.
- Develop and execute a relationship management strategy tailored to meet client needs.
- Respond to client investment inquiries, ensuring alignment with their financial goals and referring them to appropriate partners when necessary.
- Craft solutions and provide recommendations based on a thorough understanding of business strategies and stakeholder requirements.
- Analyze data and strategic issues to deliver insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service delivery.
- Introduce clients to various investment strategies, assisting them in setting financial goals and making significant progress through effective guidance tools.
- Engage clients to understand their personal investment and banking needs, integrating marketing initiatives into discussions to provide strategic advice.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance overall business performance and improve the customer experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal investment products, practices, and market trends to enrich client conversations.
- May operate across multiple branches and channels to meet market demands and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Build and nurture effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Safeguard the Bank's assets while adhering to all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
- Engage in creative thinking to propose innovative solutions.
- Exercise sound judgment to identify and resolve issues within established guidelines.
- Work independently while being open to broader responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CFP designation is preferred, or completion of the Canadian Securities Course, with licensing to sell mutual funds (excluding QC or IQPF in Quebec).
- Possess advanced knowledge of the financial industry.
- Demonstrate specialized knowledge through education and/or professional experience.
- Exhibit strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Possess in-depth analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Show proficiency in influencing and persuading others.
Compensation: The salary for this position is $53,999.00, with a combination of salary and commission.
