About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psiatrist to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Mental Health Conditions: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address a range of mental health issues.
  • Provide Expert Consultation: Offer guidance and support to other healthcare professionals on complex mental health cases.
  • Conduct Research and Stay Up-to-Date: Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current on best practices in psychiatric care.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Certifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination, licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
