About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pyschiatrist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Mental Health Conditions: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address a range of mental health issues, including psychiatric disorders and other related conditions.
  • Provide Medical Consultation and Advice: Offer expert medical consultation and advice to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide holistic care and support.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Best Practices: Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with the latest research, treatments, and best practices in psychiatric care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Must hold a medical degree and be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Experience and Skills: Possess a strong background in psychiatric care, with experience in diagnosing and treating mental health conditions, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
