We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psiychiatrist to join our team at the Saskatchewan Health Authority. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and Treat Mental Health Conditions: Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to address a range of mental health conditions, including psychiatric disorders and substance use issues.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Prescribe and Manage Medications: Develop and implement medication plans to support patient recovery and well-being.
  • Conduct Research and Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in research studies and quality improvement projects to advance the field of psychiatry and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements
