About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists and registered pharmacy technicians in filling prescriptions and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process prescriptions using Kroll Pharmacy software, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory of medications, ordering and receiving supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and process billings, claims, and disbursements, reviewing invoices and documentation for accuracy.
  • Participate in general housekeeping and administrative duties, contributing to a clean and organized work environment.
  • May be required to be on standby or on call as part of this role.
Requirements
  • High school diploma preferred; pharmacy experience an asset.
  • Proficiency in Kroll and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) an asset.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) an asset.
  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry and strong analytical and mathematical skills.
