Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Sales Managers, the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Consultant will be instrumental in cultivating professional relationships with clients through vehicle sales. The Consultant is expected to maintain an up-to-date understanding of the dealership's inventory, including various makes and models. As a representative of the company, the individual must exhibit professionalism, approachability, and integrity, coupled with strong interpersonal skills. A self-driven attitude and a commitment to achieving success are essential.

Key Duties Include:

  • Providing detailed information to customers regarding available vehicles
  • Facilitating test drives for prospective buyers
  • Building and nurturing customer relationships to maintain a loyal client base
  • Identifying and developing new customer accounts and revenue opportunities
  • Utilizing automotive computer systems and processes effectively
  • Staying informed about relevant federal, provincial, and municipal regulations affecting vehicle sales
  • Assisting customers with financing options and ensuring clarity in the process
  • Communicating essential vehicle maintenance and service information
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately
  • Complying with AMVIC regulations
  • Performing additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: E-mail, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with VIN Solutions or similar CRM applications is an asset
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-motivation
  • Desire to thrive in a commission-based performance environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Positive attitude and energetic personality
  • Eligibility for licensing with the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council (AMVIC)
  • Availability for work Monday through Saturday
