BrightPath Kids Canada is seeking a certified kindergarten educator to join our team as a substitute teacher. As a substitute teacher, you will be assigned to our kindergarten program, delivering pre-planned lessons and providing meaningful play-based instruction to our students.

As a certified kindergarten educator, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and caring environment that fosters inclusion and the love of learning. You will work collaboratively with classroom education assistants, therapists, and the regular classroom teacher to ensure a smooth and effective learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and adapt to the diverse needs of each child.
  • Provide follow-up notes to the regular classroom teacher that reflect child progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Education degree with an interim or permanent teaching certificate from Alberta Education.
