Job Summary:

Axelon Services Corporation is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, processes, and requirements, and translate them into clear and concise business and functional requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Requirements Gathering: Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  • Documentation: Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and use cases, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
  • Technical Alignment: Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business requirements and objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that solutions meet the defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Implementation Support: Support the implementation and rollout of IT solutions, providing guidance and assistance to end users during the transition period.
  • Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and identify areas for further improvement.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, successfully delivering business analysis activities in complex IT projects.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as requirements elicitation, process modeling, and data analysis.
  • Methodologies: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Communication: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
  • Interpersonal: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Experience in conducting workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
