Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Production Supervisor to join our team at Insight Plastics Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our production workers and ensuring the efficient operation of our plastic products manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Production Activities
    • Oversee the daily activities of production workers, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production workflow.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Coordinate Activities
    • Develop and implement work schedules to meet production targets.
    • Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Recommend Personnel Actions
    • Recommend hiring and promotion decisions to management.
  • Prepare Reports and Analyze Data
    • Prepare production reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Improve Productivity and Quality
    • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and product quality.
    • Implement changes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Train new staff members on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment
    • Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
