Job Title: Plastic Products Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Plastic Products Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Insight Plastics Corp.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
  • Prepare production and other reports.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Set up machines and equipment.
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a noisy manufacturing environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, permanent position.
