Plastic Products Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Products Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Plascon Plastics Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our plastic products manufacturing department.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Production Activities: Oversee the work of production workers who operate processing machines and fabricate, assemble, finish, or inspect plastic or rubber parts and products.
- Establish Work Schedules and Coordinate with Other Teams: Develop methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units to ensure efficient production.
- Recommend Personnel Actions: Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions to ensure the team is well-staffed and equipped to meet production demands.
- Prepare Reports and Analyze Data: Prepare production and other reports to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.
- Improve Productivity and Quality: Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as needed.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage Materials and Equipment: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support production activities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
