Your Role:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee operations. This position will report directly to the Branch Manager and is crucial for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for optimizing resources and enhancing the financial performance of all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and company protocols.
  • Promote and embody our core values of Safety, Innovation, Relationships, and Trust.
  • Engage in initiatives to expand our market presence.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, resource allocation, procurement, and risk management strategies.
  • Control project costs and enhance productivity through best practices.
  • Facilitate change management by handling RFIs effectively.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
  • Participate in project meetings as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Site Superintendents and Project Forepersons on contracts and budgets.
  • Provide technical guidance to Project Administrators.
  • Oversee financial management of projects through continuous forecasting.
  • Secure necessary permits and licenses.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings for smooth transitions from estimating to execution.
  • Identify required resources while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Work closely with design and prefabrication teams.
  • Set clear expectations for team members and support their professional growth.
  • Plan construction operations and schedule phases to meet deadlines.
  • Evaluate project progress and generate detailed reports.
  • Estimate change orders as needed.
  • Manage project closeout procedures.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain a network of industry relationships.
  • Organize and lead team meetings for your area.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Electrical Journeyperson or relevant project management experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the construction sector.
  • Strong project administration and management skills, including handling RFIs and change orders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and practices.
  • Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Understanding of financial processes and experience with contract management.
