Position Overview

As a Surveillance Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the continuous monitoring and assessment of casino activities, ensuring the safety and security of assets, personnel, and guests. Your role will involve routine surveillance of the gaming area, acting as a key support unit for various departments in safeguarding company resources. Your keen attention to detail and exceptional observational skills will be essential as you conduct reviews, prepare reports, and maintain logs that may serve as evidence in legal proceedings related to incidents involving patrons or staff.

In your capacity as a Supervisor, you will lead a team of surveillance personnel in a shift-based environment, promoting a secure and productive workplace. Your strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be crucial for effective team management and interaction with internal stakeholders while delivering outstanding service. You will consistently monitor gaming operations, plan, organize, and direct the overall shift operations by assigning tasks, briefing and overseeing staff, and managing situations as they arise. Compliance with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations, as well as all relevant laws, policies, and procedures, will be a priority.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A secondary diploma, with preference given to candidates with a Post-Secondary education in Law and Security.

• At least one (1) year of experience in a security-related field or gaming positions, with a preference for candidates with Supervisory experience of one (1) year or more.

• Strong analytical, observational, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Proficiency in computer applications.

• Previous experience in Casino Surveillance or related fields is an asset.

• Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant (license) with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

All candidates must be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

Working Environment Considerations


• Secure back-office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and monitoring footage, with non-traditional working hours.
