Position Overview
As a Surveillance Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the continuous monitoring and observation of casino activities, ensuring the security and integrity of the establishment's assets, personnel, and guests. Your role will involve conducting routine surveillance of the gaming area and providing support to various departments in safeguarding company resources. Your keen attention to detail and exceptional observational skills will be essential as you perform reviews, compile reports, and maintain logs that may serve as evidence in legal proceedings involving patrons or staff.
In your capacity as a Supervisor, you will lead a team of surveillance personnel in a shift-based environment, promoting a safe and productive workplace. Your strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be crucial for effective management and interaction with internal stakeholders while delivering outstanding customer service. You will consistently maintain awareness of gaming operations and strategically plan, organize, and direct the overall shift activities by assigning tasks, briefing and monitoring staff, and overseeing incidents as they arise. You will ensure adherence to the regulations set forth by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) as well as all relevant laws, policies, and procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• A secondary diploma, with preference given to those with post-secondary education in Law and Security.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a security-related field or gaming positions, with a preference for candidates with supervisory experience of one (1) year or more.
• Strong analytical, observational, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Experience in casino surveillance or related fields is an asset.
• Ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant (license) with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
All candidates must be prepared to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
Working Environment Considerations
• Secure back-office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and monitoring footage, with non-traditional work hours.
