Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surveillance Operations Manager to join our team at Great Canadian Entertainment. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring and observation of casino operations, ensuring the security and integrity of our assets, staff, and patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and review surveillance footage to identify potential security threats and incidents
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of surveillance employees, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Provide support to other departments as needed, including law enforcement and regulatory agencies
  • Conduct reviews, write reports, and maintain logs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement security policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Secondary diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in law and security preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in a security-related field or gaming-related position, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, observational, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of computer applications and casino surveillance systems
  • Ability to obtain registration as a category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

Working Environment

Our surveillance team works in a secure back-office environment, requiring long periods of sitting and watching footage. Non-traditional work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are required.
