Procurement Specialist

The Fathom Talent Group - Recruiting Experts is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services essential to our organization's operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with various departments, particularly Accounting, to ensure seamless procurement processes and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Manage vendor relationships effectively and maintain inventory levels.
- Optimize procurement efficiency and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and colleagues.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems, including contract management and inventory control.
- Experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of ICI projects and subcontractor procurement.
- Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations, including anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management, including fixed price, time and material, and other models.
