Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at One Atlantic Staffing. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, components, and equipment required for manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Material Sourcing: Identify and procure high-quality materials, components, and equipment from reputable suppliers to meet production needs.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, while actively identifying and qualifying new suppliers to ensure optimal cost and quality.
- Purchase Order Management: Track and monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and ensure on-time delivery to meet production deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the warehouse team to monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory management to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate purchasing records and reports to support business decision-making.
- 2+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using purchasing and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and materials used in manufacturing processes.
