Disaster Recovery Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Lead to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore. As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for leading and working with our emergency response team to attend to losses caused by flooding, fires, mold, and sewer backups. You will be required to work in homes, businesses, and government buildings, and may be required to work out of town for large losses and catastrophic events.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and work with technicians on the emergency response team to attend to losses
- Confirm scope of work with Project Manager and/or Mitigation Manager
- Manage all questions on site from homeowners/business owners in a professional and knowledgeable manner
- Responsible for safety at each work site, conducting and documenting safety meetings and ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Codes and company policies
- Photograph and document work sites before, during, and after emergency work
- Ensure water readings are documented at every loss
- Submit accurate time sheets to payroll
- Complete all necessary forms, including Work Authorization, Daily Psychometric Readings, and Job Hazard Assessment
- Provide Project Manager or Mitigation Manager with up-to-date reports on job status
- Collect applicable samples for Project Manager
- Conduct vehicle maintenance inspections and clean and maintain vehicles
- Understand and implement standard protocols for Water Remediation, Mold, Asbestos, and Contents handling
- Valid G driver's license required
- Minimum of 1 year of direct working experience in disaster restoration linked to fire/water loss or related
- Strong Leadership and Communication abilities
- Proficient working and applied knowledge and procedures of demolition and tear outs of affected areas in both residential and commercial buildings
- IICRC Certification required
- Competitive salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
