Disaster Restoration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Disaster Restoration Technician to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Guelph. As a key member of our disaster recovery team, you will be responsible for restoring properties to their pre-loss condition after disasters such as fires, floods, and storms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. A valid driver's licence is required, and a criminal record check and drug test will be conducted as part of the hiring process.

Requirements:
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Criminal record check
  • Drug test
