About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Fishworks Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our dishes are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our restaurant's culinary expertise and appeal to our customers' tastes.

Chef Management

Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.

Inventory Management

Manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.

Quality Control

Inspect our kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Staff Development

Train and develop our kitchen staff to improve their skills and knowledge, and to help them advance in their careers.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related role is required.

Work Setting

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service.

Physical Capabilities

You must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
