Procurement Associate

L3Harris Technologies is a leading aerospace and defense technology innovator, delivering end-to-end solutions that meet customers' mission-critical needs. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate, Procurement to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage purchasing activities relating to quality, cost, and schedule for assigned portfolios.
- Effectively interact with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Finance, and Operations.
- Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by working with Supply Chain and Engineering on development projects and programs.
- Procure materials and services needed to support rapid prototyping, Engineering design development, and concept studies.
- Proactively engage with assigned suppliers to ensure capabilities and products meet project requirements.
- Produce RFQs, competitive bids, bid evaluations, and purchase orders utilizing Cost Analysis methods.
- Ensure strict adherence to policies and procedures relating to the L3Harris WESCAM Supply Chain department and overall site business policies.
- University Degree/College Diploma in Business, Operations, Materials Management, or Finance/Accounting.
- APICS CSCP designation (complete or in process) is considered an asset.
- APICS CPIM designation or PMAC SCMP designation (complete or in process) is considered an asset.
- 1-3 years' experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or Finance role.
