Job Title: Associate, Procurement

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchasing activities relating to quality, cost, and schedule for assigned portfolios.
  • Effectively interact cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and other departments as required.
  • Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) "Fast-Trax" process by working with Supply Chain and Engineering on development projects and programs.
  • Procure material and services needed to support rapid prototyping, Engineering design development, and concept studies.
  • Proactively engage with assigned suppliers to ensure that supplier capabilities and products meet project team and Supply Chain process requirements.
  • Produce RFQs, competitive bids, bid evaluations, and purchase orders utilizing Cost Analysis methods.
  • Ensure thorough understanding and strict adherence to policies and procedures relating to the L3Harris WESCAM Supply Chain department, overall site business policies, and L3Harris Corporate policies and mandates.
Requirements:
  • University Degree/College Diploma in Business, Operations, Materials Management, or Finance/Accounting.
  • APICS CSCP designation (complete or in process) is considered an asset.
  • APICS CPIM designation or PMAC SCMP designation (complete or in process) is considered an asset.
  • 1-3 years' experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or Finance role.
