Rental Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rental Service Supervisor to join our team at H.A.L.T. HOLDINGS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our rental services, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to our sales team to ensure efficient workflow and maximum productivity.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments by cheque, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Order Merchandise: Coordinate the procurement of necessary inventory, maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for our team members, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing conflicts.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Resolve Issues: Proactively address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other challenges, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and customer service.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management and minimizing losses.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate our team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Rural area, rental agency, or retail business.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, including retail salespersons and sales clerks.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and team player.
Experience:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years: Permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language.
