Rental Service Manager

H.A.L.T. HOLDINGS LTD is seeking a skilled Rental Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our rental services, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks to sales staff to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments by cheque, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Order Merchandise: Coordinate the procurement of inventory, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
- Prepare Reports: Generate reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring efficient stock management and minimizing waste.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of sales staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Setting: Rural area, rental agency, retail business.
- Supervision: 3-4 people, retail salespersons, and sales clerks.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation available.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
- 1 year to less than 2 years: Permanent position, 40 hours per week, English language.
