Job Summary:

Support the Store Manager in managing the store's day-to-day operations, including sales growth, staffing, merchandising, cost control, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable shopping experience for customers.

Operate the store in compliance with Company policies, regulations, and agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve store goals such as sales, profit, and labor targets.
  • Implement merchandising programs to maximize store profitability and drive sales growth.
  • Establish productivity goals with Department Managers and ensure merchandise is displayed according to company guidelines.
  • Maintain store health and safety standards, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, train, and develop a customer-focused team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Stay informed about local market trends and competitive activities, making recommendations to overcome disadvantages.
  • Participate in community involvement initiatives, promoting the company's social responsibility.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and union representatives, ensuring smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • College or University education in a relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of management experience in a retail environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Effective time management, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
