About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Metro. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer engagement, and increase customer loyalty.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular store walks to ensure a positive customer experience and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of retail leadership experience, preferably in a similar role at Metro or a comparable organization.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding customer expectations.
