Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at DAISY MART. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates and management staff.
  • Financial Management: Authorize payments, manage cash handling, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Scheduling and Workforce Management: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular sales reports, merchandise analysis, and personnel metrics to store management.
  • Customer Service and Conflict Resolution: Resolve customer complaints, address supply chain issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is maintained in a clean, safe, and secure manner, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working Conditions
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 32 to 40 hours per week
  • English language required
