About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Gynecology PACU, Women's & Newborn Health department at IWK Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Gynecology PACU, Women's & Newborn Health department
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Lead nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues to support a collaborative team environment
  • Prioritize patient needs using clinical judgment and critical thinking
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
  • Current licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing required
  • Recent experience in adult or adolescent PACU care or completion of an ICU/CCU course required
  • Flexibility to work on-call as required
  • ACLS certification an asset
  • Competency in languages other than English considered an asset
