We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Gynecology PACU, Women's & Newborn Health department at IWK Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Gynecology PACU, Women's & Newborn Health department
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care
- Lead nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Build strong relationships with colleagues to support a collaborative team environment
- Prioritize patient needs using clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
- Current licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing required
- Recent experience in adult or adolescent PACU care or completion of an ICU/CCU course required
- Flexibility to work on-call as required
- ACLS certification an asset
- Competency in languages other than English considered an asset
