About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Leader to join our team at Rona Inc. as a Strategic Sourcing Manager. This is a key role that will be responsible for leading and executing complex procurement projects, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Execute Complex Procurement Projects
    • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet business objectives
    • Manage cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks
  • Manage Supplier Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure optimal pricing and terms
    • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Drive Cost Optimization Initiatives
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency
    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve cost savings
    • Monitor and report on cost savings achievements
Requirements
  • Education
    • University degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience
    • 10+ years of experience in procurement and sourcing
    • 5+ years of experience in leading complex procurement projects
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
