Job Title: Hotel Guest Services Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Guest Services Attendant to join our team at Nimpo Lake Resort.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Guest Services Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. This role involves handling luggage, addressing customer complaints, and providing information about hotel services and local attractions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Convey travelers' luggage by hand or hand truck
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, such as mobility or language barriers
  • Attend to baggage problems and resolve issues promptly
  • Escort incoming guests to their rooms and provide a warm welcome
  • Handle luggage for hotel guests and maintain the luggage storage area
  • Provide information about hotel services, room features, and local points of interest
  • Arrange for or refer guests to valet parking services
  • Receive and deliver items and messages for guests
Work Environment:

The Hotel Guest Services Attendant will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests and colleagues daily. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field an asset
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
