About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Squamish Shell. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members, to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Sales and Merchandise: Assign sales staff to duties, manage inventory, and make decisions on merchandise ordering and returns.
  • Training and Development: Hire, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and provide opportunities for professional growth.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
