Retail Store Supervisor

At Carlbergs Gifts, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are adequately trained to provide exceptional customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of our customers.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash transactions.
- Order merchandise and ensure that inventory is well-organized and maintained.
- Establish work schedules and supervise the activities of workers to ensure efficient operations.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including stock levels and product placement.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless store operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
