Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Squamish Shell. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assign Sales Tasks: Allocate duties to sales staff, ensuring that all areas of the store are covered and that customers receive a seamless shopping experience.
  • Hire and Train New Staff: Recruit, interview, and train new sales associates, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in the role.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments made by customers, ensuring accuracy and security.
  • Manage Inventory: Oversee the receipt, storage, and maintenance of merchandise, ensuring that stock levels are optimal and that products are displayed attractively.
  • Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints and concerns, providing solutions and ensuring that customers leave the store satisfied.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
