About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Clinical Programs team at Bruyère. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide safe, effective, patient-centered care to patients according to scope of practice and in accordance with Bruyère policies, procedures, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with Bruyère policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate.
  • Successful completion of RPN medication administration course or equivalent.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Membership in the Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO).
  • Fluency in French and English.
