Salary: $34.702 to $35.965 per hour
About Bruyère: Bruyère is Eastern Ontario's leading health organization specializing in aging, rehabilitation, and care for those with multiple complex medical conditions.
Job Description:
- Deliver safe, effective, patient-centered, ethical and evidence-based nursing care to patients according to scope of practice and in accordance with Bruyère policies, procedures and standards and with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients and their loved ones, colleagues and other health discipline members.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of RPN medication administration course or equivalent.
- Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO).
- Fluent in French and English.
Skills and Abilities:
- Motivated towards professional growth and development.
- Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal skills.
- Leadership, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
- Able to work within an interdisciplinary team.
