Job Opportunity at RDTS

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Representative to join our team in Sudbury, ON. As a Merchandising Representative, you will be responsible for merchandising and representing products from various suppliers to big-box stores in your territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Merchandising and Product Placement: Ensure that products are properly displayed and faced in stores, and that shelves are clean and well-organized.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Identify opportunities to cross-merchandise and mass merchandise products, and implement strategies to increase sales and visibility.
  • Display Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain displays and fixtures in stores, and ensure that they are visually appealing and effective.
  • Planogram Execution: Read and execute planograms as needed, and ensure that products are properly rotated and stocked.
  • Reporting and Communication: Perform daily reports, including taking pictures of work done, and maintain excellent relationships with store managers.
  • Special Projects: Execute special mandates required by clients, including audits and display installations.
Requirements:
  • Vehicle Ownership: Must have a car for travel to stores.
  • Merchandising Experience: Experience in merchandising and reading planograms is an asset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, autonomy, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to occasionally carry and lift loads up to 15 kgs.
  • Territorial Coverage: Must be able to cover your territory, with mileage reimbursement policy applicable.
