We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our vibrant team as a Senior Audit Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all phases of audit assignments from inception to conclusion. Collaborate with audit teams to ensure effective and efficient execution of audits.
  • Evaluate financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Identify and rectify potential discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Perform comprehensive risk evaluations and formulate detailed audit strategies that address critical risk areas while adhering to auditing standards.
  • Document audit findings and test outcomes, applying analytical judgment to prepare working papers that accurately summarize audit data and substantiate findings and conclusions.
  • Communicate audit outcomes and offer specialized business insights to management, including policy recommendations and best practices; escalate significant audit issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Review financial documents to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accepted accounting principles.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to establish a systematic approach to assess and enhance the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in auditing or accounting/finance roles.
  • Experience with both external and internal audits is advantageous. A background with a Big 4 firm is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial sector is considered a strong asset.
  • Experience in a public accounting firm is regarded as a significant advantage.
  • Experience in financial reporting, internal controls, or auditing is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to cultivate effective and collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners.
