About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Eat Stop Shop ft Pita Blast. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation and serving experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, package take-out food, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of food quantities used and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, and handling and storing cleaning products.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with extended periods of standing.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
