About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Tasty Bites. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, as well as portion and wrap foods for our customers.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Set tables, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and replenish condiments and other supplies as needed.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take orders, and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills.
