Job Title: Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team at the Bank of Montreal. As a key member of our Technology group, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our trading desks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-line technical support to trading desks, resolving issues and escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain trading systems and infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and technical notes.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of technical projects, including proof-of-concepts and pilots.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in tech ops/support, with a focus on capital markets and trading systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL, Cloud, and functional knowledge of trading systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
