Job Title: Senior IS Project Manager

Job Summary:

AltaLink's Security & Information Services (S&IS) Department is seeking a Senior IS Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex IT projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment of scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT projects from initiation to closing, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and management.
  • Report project status, finances, and risks to sponsors, stakeholders, and management.
  • Manage project documentation requirements in accordance with the IT Project Management Framework.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior project managers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT project management, with a focus on complex projects.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to express complex project concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT project management best practices.
