Senior Project Manager Job Description

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a 9-month contract in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering the overall integration project plan and its deliverables for our client business groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring scope, budget, time, and quality goals are met.
  • Manage project resources, including identifying and negotiating requirements with delivery organizations.
  • Direct accountability for planning and executing multiple concurrent business projects.
  • Stakeholder management and communication activities throughout the integration process.
  • Facilitate interactions between business teams, IT technical leads, and project delivery staff to ensure project delivery alignment.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience leading multi-stakeholder, business-focused initiatives.
  • Rapidly learn new business processes and apply knowledge to identify, develop, and deliver business projects.
  • Experience in delivering integration projects as part of a major business merger is an asset.
  • Hands-on experience using Microsoft Project and Excel to plan, deliver, and report on projects.
  • Ability to communicate and influence decision-making at VP and Director levels.
Business Unit Specific Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, sourcing, process improvement, and technical training.
  • Experience in delivering successful business and IT projects.
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba is an asset.
