Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, estimates, and progress reports to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Proactively monitor and manage project execution, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure project success.
  • Effectively coordinate multiple projects between various discipline groups, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client and internal expectations by implementing a quality assurance review process.
  • Provide technical review and direction to project teams, ensuring projects are executed in accordance with company standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate project resources to meet project requirements, identifying and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and subconsultants as needed.
  • Define and mitigate overall project risk through interaction with the project team and clients.
  • Communicate project status to project leaders and teams, providing regular project reports and updates.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in project management, with a technical background in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Civil and structural project experience, with a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project status and progress to stakeholders.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
