About the RoleThe Child and Youth Support Worker will build relationships and trust with the youth, providing care to enhance areas of competence and developing skills in individual areas of need. This will be achieved through engaging the youth with intentional practice, recreation, life skills, community involvement, and therapeutic programming.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships and trust with the youth

- Engage the youth with intentional practice, recreation, life skills, community involvement, and therapeutic programming
To be successful in this role, you must be:
- 18-30 years old
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- Having a current (within 12 months) Alberta Intervention Record Check (highly preferred)
- Having a current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector (highly preferred)
- Having a First Aid and CPR/AED 'C' certification (highly preferred)
We are looking for individuals with:
- Knowledge of Harm Reduction, strength-based practice, and trauma-informed care
- Experience in a related field (considered an asset)
- A valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 5 GDL will not be accepted)
- A clean driver's abstract containing not more than two (2) minor offences or one (1) major offence
