Are you a seasoned sales professional looking to take your career to the next level? Do you have a passion for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships? We're seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Version 1, a leading Oracle ERP Consultancy in Ireland and the UK.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires occasional travel to our hub office. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for leading the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, and driving sales through working with existing customers and net new business. You will also be expected to identify new opportunities for Enterprise Applications through market knowledge, customer relationship development, and leveraging our network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth and meet revenue targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with our technology partners and specialists to deliver solutions that meet customer needs
  • Contract negotiation and management
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on Enterprise Applications and the Public Sector
  • Strong understanding of Oracle ERP solutions and their applications in the Public Sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to our hub office
