Role Summary: This position is situated within the Finance and Operations division of the Private Equity group, tasked with overseeing fund operations and fulfilling private reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quarterly reporting to investors and other stakeholders, including financial statements prepared in accordance with US GAAP and tracking fund and investment performance.
  • Present quarterly results to senior management.
  • Conduct quarterly valuations of fund investments.
  • Review accounting packages for individual legal entities, including tax financials.
  • Prepare internal and external audit requests while maintaining appropriate control documentation.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks governing various funds and their implications on fund flows and consolidation.
  • Assist in analyzing complex accounting challenges as they arise.
  • Engage in special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA/CA preferred).
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in finance and/or accounting roles.
  • Experience in private funds and familiarity with the investment management sector, particularly regarding complex ownership structures, is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems, including advanced Excel skills.
