Benefits Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Benefits Analyst to join our team at Jace Holdings Ltd. as an Analyst, Benefits. This is a term contract position.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth analyses of benefits programs, including market research, cost-benefit analysis, regulatory compliance, and organizational impact.
- Ensure compliance with benefit legislation, providing education to HR, payroll, and benefits staff on legislative requirements and updates.
- Act as a resource for regions and National Human Resource Services, resolving problems and providing benefit plan costing support during labour negotiations.
- Administer benefits eligibility and procedures according to contracts and plan texts.
- Conduct external benchmarking of plan best practices through surveys and other sources, making recommendations for competitive market positioning.
- Compile financial statistics and claims analysis related to benefits and relocation programs.
- Prepare regular reports to management with recommendations.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits and relocation programs to ensure data integrity and good governance.
- Investigate discrepancies and make recommendations to resolve issues.
- Run reports to validate benefit deduction file accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements.
- Franchise Remittances for Franchise Group (every 5th of the month).
- Backup files by store, cost per line benefits (for Ceridian stores, Stores on MBC, Telus health EFAP).
- Franchise conversions/onboards – bi-weekly conversation calls.
- An Undergraduate Degree.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in employee benefits.
- Extensive knowledge of current legislation as it relates to employee benefits.
- CEBS, GBA, or CHRP Designation.
- Bilingual, English / French considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Superior analytical and mathematical skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
