About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Kawartha Heights Retirement Living. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resident rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean and tidy, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing floors
  • Restock linens, towels, and toiletries as needed
  • Handle and report lost and found items
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to their requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve a high level of cleanliness and organization
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous housekeeping experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
