Position Overview

The Bilingual Talent Acquisition Consultant plays a crucial role in formulating and implementing sourcing strategies tailored for specific positions, encompassing both challenging roles and those requiring a steady influx of candidates. The effective execution of these sourcing strategies is vital for meeting sourcing objectives and securing top-tier talent. Success in this position hinges on the Consultant's networking abilities, unwavering search ethics, and proficient sourcing techniques. Furthermore, a deep understanding of organizational and candidate compatibility, along with the capacity to effectively communicate our career opportunities, will be essential in attracting the talent necessary to propel our expanding business.

The ideal candidate will possess high energy and exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of articulating the vision, values, and opportunities available at CB Canada. They should be able to work autonomously and have prior experience managing the complete talent acquisition cycle. This role will serve as a strategic partner for a designated client group within the organization.

In a consultative role, the Talent Acquisition Consultant will collaborate with Human Resource Managers and hiring leaders to:

  • Align on new job openings through strategic kickoff meetings and develop candidate profiles for each search.
  • Design a targeted sourcing strategy that incorporates diversity sourcing practices and an effective candidate evaluation framework.
  • Source candidates for roles ranging from individual contributors to management positions.
  • Assist Hiring Managers and HR Managers in understanding the market landscape for in-demand skills.
  • Share best practices in sourcing, including new recruitment tools, and compare position profiles to identify common skill sets.
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to enhance workflow efficiency and recruitment processes.
  • Expand and nurture a broad network of professional contacts to identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Develop and implement candidate generation strategies to build a talent pipeline, with a focus on diversity.
  • Employ advanced sourcing techniques (such as Applicant Tracking System mining, Search Engine Optimization, and Social Media Recruiting) across various channels to establish relationships with key professionals for targeted roles.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compensation packages, benefits, salary structures, and long-term incentive plans for prospective candidates.


Position Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in both staffing agencies and corporate settings; experience sourcing for remote positions is a plus.
  • A relevant degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a recruiting or sourcing consultant.
  • Expertise in all aspects of sourcing, including candidate qualification, networking, job analysis, salary trends, and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing credibility with hiring managers and leveraging external talent market insights to influence their talent strategies.
  • Ability to comprehend, articulate, and document a hiring manager's requirements, and craft a compelling value proposition to attract the caliber of candidates needed.
  • Must possess both tactical and strategic capabilities, with the ability to communicate the overall strategic vision alongside execution details.
  • Excellent strategic influencing skills, with the ability to engage a diverse range of individuals with varying agendas and needs to ensure effective communication with key internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced experience in utilizing structured candidate assessment methodologies and innovative sourcing techniques to recruit passive candidates.
  • Proficient in building rapport and relationships over the phone.
  • Fluency in English and French is required, as the role involves interaction with team members across all Canadian provinces.
