Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking individuals with a background in the hospitality sector, where knowledge of wines is a valuable asset. The ideal candidates will possess a vibrant personality, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility. Flexibility in scheduling, including availability on weekends, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service during wine tastings and sales interactions.
  • Conducting engaging and informative winery tours, including structured tastings for groups.
  • Utilizing a computerized point-of-sale system and managing opening and closing tasks.
  • Assisting with the organization and execution of special events.
  • Providing formal and informal dining service as needed.
  • Representing the winery at external events.
  • Managing inventory of wine and merchandise.
  • Performing general cleaning and maintenance duties.

Job Requirements:

  • Smart Serve Certification.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong motivation to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.
  • Dependable and trustworthy character.
  • Ambitious and focused on achieving objectives.
  • Previous retail experience is essential.
  • Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods.
  • Prior serving experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in French, Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus.
  • Wine knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts is required.
